Welcome to Stay For Less, an independent property management company based in Brighton & Hove, United Kingdom. By using our services as a landlord or guest, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Introduction

1.1 These terms and conditions govern your use of Stay For Less services as a guest or host. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1.2 Stay For Less reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. You will be notified of any changes via email or on our website.

2. Use of Services

2.1 Stay For Less facilitates the use of OTAs for landlords to list their properties for bookings and for guests to book these properties.

 

2.2 As a landlord, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your property, including its availability, pricing, and amenities.

2.3 As a guest, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about yourself and your stay, including the number of guests, length of stay, and any special requirements.

 

2.4 Stay For Less reserves the right to cancel bookings that do not comply with our policies or that pose a risk to the safety of the property and guests.

3. Fees

3.1 Stay For Less charges a service fee for each booking made through OTAs.

 

3.2 The service fee is calculated as a percentage of the total booking amount minus host fees and is disclosed in the monthly invoice.

 

3.3 Stay For Less reserves the right to change our service fees at any time.

4. Payments

4.1 Stay For Less ensures that all payments are made to landlords via OTAs.

 

4.2 Guests are required to pay the full amount and the date that this is required by is dependent on the policy of OTA.

 

4.3 Landlords will receive payment via the payment method specified in their account settings on the OTAs platforms.

4.4 Stay For Less is not responsible for any issues arising from the payment process of third-party OTAs, including but not limited to fraud or unauthorised charges.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Hosts may set their own cancellation policy, which will be disclosed to guests before the booking is confirmed.

 

5.2 Guests may cancel a booking according to the host's cancellation policy. Any refunds will be subject to the host's cancellation policy.

 

5.3 In the event of extenuating circumstances, Stay For Less may issue a full or partial refund at our discretion.

6. Liability

6.1 Stay For Less is not responsible for any damage, loss, or injury to guests or hosts that occurs during a stay booked through our platform.

 

6.2 Landlords are responsible for ensuring that their properties are safe and secure for guests.

 

6.3 Guests are responsible for their own safety and security during their stay.

 

 

7. Dispute Resolution

7.1 In the event of a dispute between a guest and a host, the host will provide assistance in resolving the issue.

 

7.2 If the dispute cannot be resolved, either party may choose to escalate via formal channels on the OTAs and Property Redress Scheme.

 

7.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

8. Termination

8.1 Stay For Less reserves the right to terminate your use of our services at any time for any reason.

 

8.2 You may terminate your use of our services by notifying us of your cancellation of contract.

 

8.3 Upon termination, any outstanding bookings will be cancelled and any refunds will be subject to the cancellation policy in effect at the time of the termination.
